Halau Makana to Compete in Kiki Raina Tahiti Fete

The women of Hālau Makana are excited and energized as they prepare for the Kiki Raina Tahiti Fete competition in Merced, California on March 23-25. The competition is the longest running Tahitian Dance and Cultural Festival held outside of French Polynesia. This is the first year that Hālau Makana will be competing.

We are asking the community for help in reaching our fundraising goal of $2,600. The amount raised will help cover the cost of costumes, musicians, transportation, and hotel accommodations. Please make a donation to our fundraising site today! Any amount is greatly appreciated.
