Hālau Makana to perform at Alameda’s Asian Pacific Islanders Festival on May 19, 2013

Hālau Makana is honored to be performing at the 3rd Annual Alameda Asian Pacific Islanders Festival on Sunday, May 19th, at 4pm. Our performances will represent Hawai’i and Tahiti, expressing both the relaxed, easy-going island lifestyles and happy-go-lucky fast-paced dances. Come along with us on a dance journey through Polynesia!

Adults Beginning Hula Basics (ages 13+)
Mondays, 6 – 6:45pm (June 3 – August 12, no class July 29)
Adults Beginning Ori Tahiti Basics (Tahitian Dance ~ ages 13+)
Mondays, 8 – 9pm (June 3 – August 12, no class July 29)
